Hermes House Press invites artists and writers whose works appear in this book to contribute an update, which will be included on our website and in the future incarnations of India Self Portrait. With a free digital version available to share, we hope to cast a net far and wide in order to reach those who created this rare publication, as well as a greater audience with a vested interest in India’s past, present and future.
We welcome comments from every reader and hope this publication serves as what Tenpa Dhargyal (page 80, “Being a Tibetan Refugee”) refers to as a living history of India. Check in with us soon for his expected update, as well as one from Himanish Das, an architect living in London whose work appears throughout the book. In the meantime, feel free to explore updates from Sanjay Ghosh, Jigmat Norbu and Bornali Datta.
The world is waiting to hear from you!
